Tuaam Posted February 23, 2016 So far, This is what I have gotten. - Graphics meter, seems to be a meter for how much things you can place (No maps like Nuts.wad) - Different room pieces. Things like hallways, empty rooms, prefabs of the sort. -Scripting and triggers, if you get a weapon then 3 imps spawn around you. -Items, Armors, Keycards -Portals, You can place extra entrances for other rooms. This increases the number of possibilities. -Room types. I heard about this, but you can have different styles / themes, Like Hell, Techbase, Labs. Maybe there are prefabs for outside areas? -Hazards, nukage puddles and crates, Shipping containers, Lasers, Flames. -Enemies with different types of difficulties, colors, excluding bosses. -Player entities (Possibilities for new gamemodes) -Variable player / monster attributes (Things like health, weapons, and speed). -Modifying game logic. Essentially, you can make your own gamemodes. I wonder if this will result in new mods and eventually new games... Tell me anything that I missed and I'll add it. 0 Share this post Link to post
CreamCheese Posted February 23, 2016 >Variable monster parameters. So far Health, Behaviour (Ally/Foe, follow the player, attack, etc.) and Appearance (only skins have been confirmed so far). I'd go on a whim and say we can also change their weapons (e.g. Plasmancubus, vs Flamancabus), and armour bits (Hell vs. UAC) brb i'll add more 0 Share this post Link to post
CreamCheese Posted February 23, 2016 >Modifying game logic, e.g. essentially changing objectives. I recall there was things like Soccer, VIP escort, Races, Wave Hordes, Stadium, etc. I'm trying to think of more. 0 Share this post Link to post
ChickenOrBeef Posted February 23, 2016 We also know movement speed can be changed in SnapMap. Marty confirmed that a while ago, and it's shown off in the very first SnapMap video from E3 last year. So one can assume we can toggle other types of variables as well. 0 Share this post Link to post
Ginsu Posted February 25, 2016 So does this mean I could snap together a map with UAC troops and players fighting through demons to get from point A to point B? That would be really cool! 0 Share this post Link to post

That would be really cool! From everything that's been said, definitely. In the GameInformer Q&A, Marty Stratton said that he designed a map where you had to escort a friendly zombie, so I don't see why you couldn't design a similar scenario with friendly UAC troops instead!
