Yep that was also part of the inspiration. I'll refer to the area as the "Cave of SIGIL".

Still need to sort out the gameplay for the final area (probably an ambush) and maybe add a secret (lite amp) and then will test the map. It has not been an easy area to work with trust me. And of course you'll get the map for testing when complete.

I am working on RELAX project (spiritual successor of Chillax) and I am making a map with my japanese style (I always tend to do it) but this time with a futuristic touch
Progress really slow but I am pretty happy with what I am doing. =]

Currently going full force during the past 2 days on making my Bijou TNT megawad by recreating all TNT Evilution maps into playable 192x192 space.

thanks Gez for the feedback, i was thinking about the lost soul sprite while back too. It looks really nice but yeah look bitt more tech-ish i think i probably not going to use it. I'm aware The combat still need work and i still doing changes to it and your words will help a lot. Thanks again Gez.

Thanks a lot Ejboogy. The grate is 3d floor with 0 height and 1 unit above floor sky.

Here's another teaser screenshot of my current progress. I was tempted to show an in-game shot, but I've not done the lighting yet so I'll wait until its further along. My aim will be to create a 5-6 map wad that has a 10,000 linedef limit (to keep myself from going nuts). My aim is to get most of this map finished by the end of this week, although sorting out monster placement will likely take awhile.
