I tried making the first room of Hell on Earth from Doom Eternal.

Well i bought doom64 in my steam, and after replaying the levels got inspiration back to keep working in complexe16 now i have what i want for map05: underground labs, although i barely have made some advancemets.

Hi, this is my first post to this great forum and those are screenshots of my first Doom 2 map (work in progress). It's called "Into Battle" and I'd say it's rather old school Doom/Doom 2 style.

I made the sky texture myself.

I already like that, when you also implement lights and shadows this will look really cool!

I decided to realize one of my more slaughter map-ish ideas:

The texturing is work in progress and what happens after Mastermind's box opens is not realized at all. Timing I guess is good enough.

Yeah. I've made a room shaped after COVID-19 on the top and that other area on the right is based on a bacteriophage t4. Simplified, of course.

I didn't add any other virus inspired areas though.

Like everyone else I've had a lot more time on my hands, so I've finally dove back into making the second level of my Doom NW project! Been working on it for like 4 days straight, getting pretty close to having it finished I believe. Pretty happy with how my truck and forklift came out :)

Using a middle texture is your best bet, experiment with one of the step textures to get the feel for it

Hi there!  I just started learning how to make classic Doom maps back in February this year whilst waiting for Doom Eternal to come out.  Since then I've become slightly obsessed with the mapping process & felt compelled to share my work on a small, vanilla-themed mapset I'm working on.

 

All stock Doom 2 assets at the moment, the plan is to have the first half be base themed, then have a hellish second half.

Map 01 of my megawad/mod I am creating took me good 3 weeks to do (mid Nov-early Dec last year) plus I've spent the last few days editing and play testing it by making it a bit bigger, better, and put more monsters and ambushes in it. I'm hoping to aim this wad/mod at the more experienced Doom players. It starts off moderate in difficulty, then after the first text screen, it literally bombards the player. Kinda like Plutonia in that respect lol. No, I got no screenshots at present.
