Less than 2 days into a new map and I've already broken my promise to myself to get the complete layout for the level established before I start messing around detailing individual rooms. Whoops.

 

What can I say, it helps me realise the finished thing as I'm working on it, I guess.

This is just kind of a random map that I threw together in about seven hours in order to practice non-orthogonal / semi-orthogonal geometry. I decided to restrict myself to the vanilla limits to help keep my ambitions in check.

 

I think it turned out rather well, all things considered. Gives me a much needed confidence boost before I start work on something... more substantial... watch this space!

My current plan is to keep all the vanilla maps I create for fun as one 'set', then release it when I accumulate a megawad or at least an episode's worth. I'll call it Omni's Box of Chocolates (get it, 'cause Chocolate Doom? eh? eh?).

Oh no, this is just a random thought fart of a map. I didn't even plan this one in advance xD. Evidence of my real project will (hopefully) be forthcoming in the near future, though I can't make any promises ;)

 

Thanks to ^^ as well as @StupidBunny and @LordEntr0py for the interest. It is nice to be on the receiving end for a change :)

My third map, it isn't turning out bad at all, I'm trying at a better map than the last one, and I think its turning out to be better

After making my map for the We Draw It, We Map It community map pack, I decided to tinker around in Doom Builder a bit more. I made a small little apartment. I have no idea what else to do for this map.
