Does it count if I spent 50h+ on a map because I didn't know there was a hotkey to automatically align textures? xD

I released a Multiplayer wad called Radical, it has fast paced gameplay and a badass soundtrack!

Almost finished. Added brightmaps and very pleased . The only things that is left: 1)draw 4 rotation frames for projectile. 2)Find a solution how to fix projectile smoketrail. 3) Find good sounds to replace stock ones. (Optional)- draw melee frames

I've gone back to focusing on remastering KDitD, so I finally get something from this project released! E1M1 is virtually complete, E1M2, E1M3, E1M4 and E1M7 are probably all 80 - 90% done, E1M8 and E1M9 are at least 50% finished, and E1M5 is probably at 25%. The only one without any significant progress is E1M6, which has had some fancy lighting effects added at the very beginning... and that's about it.

 

Anyway, here are some before and after shots of the maze area from E1M4. As you can see, my changes are very Suspended in Dusk-inspired :)

EDIT: Just for fun, here are the same locations from KDiZD's rendition of E1M4 (it took me 20 minutes to get there, lol!). It did remind me that I need to add some ceiling lights to my own version.

a to align horiizontally

shift+a to align vertically

ctrl+a to align both.

 

If you want to only align a certain set of connected textures, highlight them first.

There are a few additional complexities to how it works but they are pretty intuitive.
