Hey, this is solid advice. I know I should probably analyze Boaty McBoatface or whatever that ship WAD was called? (it actually looked incredible, but I have yet to try it!) Icebound did it too; in reality that is the one I've put off analyzing because I didn't want to "copy" but the thematic content isn't derivative so it's probably fine. I've been sort of hesitating w adding the sails. They are similar to adding sector/traditional based lighting, they carve up the sectors and can be really difficult to edit or remove if it you don't do it correctly. I see how you added that there w mid-texture though. I'll make a point to add sails in w the next update!

this looks neat, but i think those square pillars and the walls with the skulls could use some height (or other types of) variation. it looks rather same'y.

Window decals for a Heretic texture pack I am currently compiling. Shout out to @kwc for making these edits. Originals by @Captain Toenail. The idea behind these decals is that mappers will have a quick and easy way to just paste on some window decorations onto ANY texture without needing to build out an actual window frame, especially since that is not always possible when there is a sky-box above (as with all these examples except for the tower). Moss-green trim variant not pictured.

The floating pipes are working as intended, gotta figure out what I want to do for detailing on the walls, just not 100% happy with them.

Every non hell level in my megawad will have a slayer gate which leads to a mini hell arena.  Here is the first five in no particular order

 

Hellbound Hellraiser hell with purple
