Textures i found on this site. The author will be credited as i wrote their name on a text document so I know who to credit for them. I used paint to put them together to make the building textures and also made the brightmap images and OpenGL Defs file for them myself.

I could do that. I'm thinking of doing some animations for them too so the lights switch off and on every now and then.

Progressing a little bit with my map. While creating this area, I added sky texture to hide door (near ship wreckage, needed it to have a shootable door that dosen`t open to the sky), but I didn't realize that it very noticeable from right side of ship. @Nathan Silver I actually love when people make very grey maps, but use lighting and contrast really well so it doesn't appear so blatantly grey. In all of those screens, there is one thing that isn't grey to add just enough color. A tan crate, a yellow key texture by the door, a beige chair. Just enough color. The lighting is good too. 

 

(Map 05 of TNT:Foreverlution was a map, fully by me, that aimed to have every single texture grey only - no browns or other shades allowed. THe playtesters convinced me to add a little color here and there, which I did and  I think the map is far better for it - now there are some rusted brown pillars, window insets, tan crates etc etc. The map is even called "Graytech Harrow.")

The problem with creating a texture pack is that the more you map, the more textures you want to create for different uses. For instance, this grid with flowing liquid inside.

which just manifested into my mind when I saw  these two files next to one another, and now I have like a bajilion more textures to make.

I have not posted anything about "Vanilla+" ever, although, after a month of not updating it, I'm updating it. Now... feast your eyes on the new BFG replacement!

 Couldn't get the laptop to record so used a phone... I've been getting the basics down in slade, tried my own textures and individual songs instead of one, no luck...all good, more to learn ...super fun.

Must confess it turned out a lot better than I was expecting.

You gotta start somewhere. Try different colours for your walls or floors/ceilings to make things more interesting than gray...A darker room will make that skylight stand out even better...
