So this is maybe half of Doom guy's speed, but hey, it's a start. These things look pretty weird. I imagine they'll look like "normal" boots or shoes within a few years or so. Really interesting that we're getting into that whole "better, smarter, faster" arena of augmentation. You can bet the U.S. military will invest in these as soon as they're ready for combat use.

Soon they will also invent rockets launchers that allow you to fly by shooting the ground .

They look fun to use. Like a better version of those so called "moon boots." I'd try them, but they make you look incredibly dorky. I can't ever imagine people considering these things to look normal. They're just way too huge. I watched some youtube videos on them and they are a really cool concept, at least. Functional too.
