ZDaemon Thursday Night Survival #240 - Vispire

It's not often we do speedmap WADs on TNS but valkiriforce proved that he did not forget how to make good old school maps in his 2 years long hiatus and that he can make them when given a limited time as well. Hope to see you on Thursday to help him give this sweet mapset a final test before the release on idgames!

Peaked at 36 players, so it was a solid turnout anyway. Very fun session overall actually! Currently close to starting the fourth rotation.

He was trying to write MEMFIS, but the map ended early :(


This map could be exited in about 5 seconds. Measures were taken to stop this happening.

I've been at work for 3 hours now, sadly :( All I ever make it to is FNF and ZDS, even then its unfortunately rare..

I hope that, after that post, people won't think that TNS is only about dick jokes. That would be a very sad, limited, and inaccurate image of what we actually do, because the truth is that we sometimes throw in a fart joke too.

@Anima's death: For a short moment, I was confused what that rocket was doing there. Then I realized he shot it himself and probably forgot about it in the heat of the moment or just wanted that sphere too badly xD GJ Anima indeed, this will be hard to top.

@valkiriforce: Glad to hear that, we had fun too :) So thanks for the wad and thanks for coming, it's always nice to have the authors join us. Btw, feel free to do that anytime, we post what we will be playing each Thursday here in the MP section, usually about a day in advance (=Wednesday).

In ZDaemon when you're killed by a teammate you don't actually lose a life in a survival game. You respawn again with 100 health, 0 armor and all your weapons, keys and other items you picked up are hopelessly lost :)

lol, I remember how disoriented I was the moment I entered MAP01 facing a wall, and turned to the right only to get blasted immediately in the face. I'm looking forward to seeing what was caught in those highlight moments.
