Danfun64 Posted April 6, 2016 I was under the impression that neither Boom nor MBF have an option for longtics. That assumption seems right for Boom, but then there is this statement... Never_Again said:MBF support implies "-longtics", I think. If I were to take MBF-with-fixes and "-record demoname", would the resulting demo be shorttics or longtics? Silly question, I know, but I just want to be sure. 0 Share this post Link to post
BrainMuncher Posted April 13, 2016 I'm pretty sure it would default to short tics? Easy to test, just start recording and see if your mouse is jerky or not. 0 Share this post Link to post
fraggle Posted April 14, 2016 It seems that Boom/MBF demo format actually implies short tics (see here). I'm rather surprised they didn't take the opportunity when making a new demo format to just write the full 16 bits of the turn field. 0 Share this post Link to post
