Does anyone make wads for Ultimate Doom?

Nearly all of the vanilla or limit-removing megawads I see mentioned around here seem target DOOM 2.

So I'm curious, do any wads get made for Doom 1 or Ultimate Doom these days? If so, what percentage would it be?

I've started working on a Ultimate Doom replacement for one episode, but it is at an initial stage and there is not so much to see at the moment.

I prefer Ultimate Doom's pacing, episode structure, intermission maps, textures, music and monster Roster more than Doom 2. So yeah I tend to make most of my custom maps for Ultimate Doom. That being said, nothing has ever been posted online but I really enjoy making Ultimate Doom maps.

Doom II is when iD Software sold out, and even that 4th episode doesn't make any sense. So yeah, just the original 3-episode Doom, and also Heretic is where it stops. Nothing else matters (/\/\etallica).

You had me until "monster roster". That's the biggest improvement in Doom 2, along with adding the SSG. Doom 1's roster is pretty damn boring and limited, with only two strong demons.

Wonder if anyone's made a 32 level Doom 2 style level set for UD, and a three episode 9-level set for Doom 2 yet? :p

Don't see the point. There is a texture pack that allows you to use Doom 1 textures in Doom 2, and if you want to create individual episodes you can do that in ports like Zdoom via mapinfo lumps.
