Doomworld Musicians, serenade us with your beautiful music!

Recommended Posts

Over the months I've played Doom, I've made quite a few covers of MIDIs related to it using MuseScore, which is essentially a MIDI editor with its own soundfont(s).

Ordered from the first of them I made, Abyss being probably the best so far.

"Into the Beast's Belly" from Final Doom - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_OeeZTM0Ms

"Max Man" from Streets of Rage 2 (Sunlust MAP29 MIDI) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFSsEPOMXpU

"Horizon" from Final Doom - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noPb1fLpgPE

Abyss (Stardate 20x7 MAP08 music) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT7ubi0u6UE

"Native" from Gubble (Stardate 20x6 MAP07) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWaRs-YD6Hc

Stay tuned for the "main dish", an avantgarde metal album... i guess

Liked this one, quite ethereal sounding.

The transition to the rock part is also interesting.

Some industrial tracks I made a while back.

I'm a sucker for Industrial ; ) , I liked the 4th one from the list the most.

Nice evil synth rhythm going on there.

Something from me from a while back, as it turned out, it kind of predicted the future before everything became how it is.

I used to play guitar in a Ramones tribute band. I moved away but a couple years ago they came to my city to play a show and I got to get up on stage and play a song with them.

Version of the song "Excalibur" from Rise of the Triad's OST (one of the few songs from Bobby Prince I guess, or so I always believed listening to the harmony) I absentmindedly did back in 1999. It's a .mod (actually, an .xm). Uses samples and stuff I don't remember where I got from.

Had an absolute blast putting this together, but not without cost. My trusty (rusty) old workstation of more than 10 years finally gave up right in the middle of the production, so I had to retrieve the hard drives and connect them to my (somewhat underpowered) laptop in order to get it finished. Downloads available in the description.

I fully understand that I'm fucking with a masterpiece here, but I only do this with music that I love.
