Chaingun OP in MP?

Is it just me or is the chaingun laughably OP in multiplayer? I am tearing enemy players into pieces with this thing.

I'm a bit curious about that myself. It could just be a situational advantage though.

Back in beta the Sniper Loadout felt a bit op, I was deadly at close and far range. However this Chaingun (that so many players favor atm) seem to be easy to use and deadly both close and far range. I definitely struggle against them, and if they get me by surprise or even just get the first shot in I'm very likely to die.

If they were a bit more inaccurate at long range that should balance them out.

Looks like. More powerful than Plasmagun in most situations, because speed of bullets are higher, more easy to aim. IMHO. Chaingun spammers sometimes makes me sick.
