There's going to be theatrical Fruit Ninja movie

I just don't think balls to the wall action (as seen in doom, wolfenstein, or any videogame with exception to Duke) would make for a good modern movie with modern special effects. They need practical effects otherwise it'll just be boring.

Uuuuuh, no.

Postal, maybe. But that wasn't exactly a good film either.

First video games were based on movies, and now movies are based on video games.

We've gone a full circle.

Not quite yet. Not until we have a movie based on a video game, which was based on a movie.

DOOM: The movie: The game

Actually there was a fighting game made of the Street Fighter movie, which was based on Street Fighter II.

Doom Movie was based on Doom 3, though, not vice versa.

I know... but if a game was based on the movie, it would be similar to Doom 3.

I feel like I'm the only person alive who enjoyed that game, even though it was horribly unbalanced and had terrible hit detection. Messy and stupid, but fun.

If they're gonna make a new DOOM movie, they better make It as crazy and ridiculous as the first game, providing barely any story.

Or, you know, add In story but still be as action packed and 80's cheese as DOOM 1.
