Story and game ideas for a Doom sequel?

Here's my completely sophomoric take...

Story Line: Samuel Hayden had planned out all that happened beforehand and turns out to be a villain afterall *gasp*. He has discovered Argent Energy can also be found/conducted on Earth, and kept some machines to salvage it beforehand. He begins to wreck havoc that turn the people to demons on Earth, as well as turn the Marine's rabbit into a huge demonic Harebeast (to become a boss battle later on). Once Samuel hears of the Doom Marine arriving on Earth from a possessed demon ship (Like the one from TNT) that the marine had to fight through beforehand, he creates his own pack of Hellguards/Evil Night Sentinels to hunt the Doom Marine down, while he channels Argent Energy for his "master." Doom Marine takes the pack down, and hunts for Samuel. Who, unfortunately, created a powerful suit that can't be hurt with conventional means and also has a bfg loaded on it. Doom Marine kicks his ass, but is also killed in the process, harking himself back to Hell once again. The "master" was, in fact, the reincarnated Icon of Sin...who the Marine has to defeat once again (making it a true sequel to the originals).

Game-play focuses: Moving through the cities by double jumping into windows, floating buildings, and jumping on hovering cars. Make the platforming done tastefully.

Scenery: Make the city resemble something out of Blade Runner, as well as add some kind of solar-themed levels. Maybe even add a sewer section.

What to add: Arachnotrons (created by Samuel from pieces of the Mastermind's brain DNA) and some kind of anti-paladin enemy that fights sword and shield.

I'd like to see Sammy gather a bunch of people in the UAC to further hell research while making a bunch of cyborgs to survive hell expeditions, doomslayer interrupts frequently so they decide he'd be better off dead

They decide to create the ultimate weapon to not only kill the doomslayer, but replace him

They take the dead greatest warrior of hell, cyber him up, mind control him, and make him fight the doomslayer, but he regains his own brain power, turns on the UAC and returns to hell to free the last arch of hell to revive the icon and other sacred demons to return hell to its former glory, Sammy sees this and uses his cyborg army to attempt to stop the demons from uprising again, battles are waged between the two factions, the doomslayer fights them both, but the new cyberdemon manages to revive the arches of hell and the icon, therefore creating enough power in hell for the demons to take over the new earth realm (the old one they destroyed [thats where the DOOMGuy is from])

Then doom 3 is hell on earth

That's my dream sequel/DLC

That's a really cool story! What will the new Cyberdemon look like? How will the cyborgs fight the player?

Here's a rudimentary story idea for a Doom sequel. The Doom Slayer was banished to Phobos by Hayden who is trying to revive his argent energy project on Earth. Something goes terribly wrong, and Hell On Earth begins. Doom Slayer must battle his way through the moonbases of Phobos and Deimos and find a way to get to Earth and stop the ancient demon scourge from taking over Earth completely.

There would be definite design variations to the looks of the levels, from the gloomy corridors of the moonbases to sprawling Blade Runner-esque citys of Earth which have been reduced to ruins by the forces of Hell. Old monsters return such as the Pain Elemental and Arachnotron, and maybe even the Bruiser form Doom 3 ROE just to continue the theme of cybernetic demon fiends. Also the Icon of Sin, that we saw in Doom 2016 breaks free from his hellish containment and makes it's way to Earth.

That's a good idea. If they do Phobos and Deimos however, it wouldn't hurt to have a completely different look from Mars. Maybe a jail quality to it with lots of black and grey textures, as if it was put there by the UAC for life-sentenced crooks.

The cyberdemon would basically be the old design with the old technology replaced with more high tech stuff

He'll have weird tech bits on this chest and open abdomen, he will also have some big tank things protruding through his back with tubes that connect to various parts of his body, he may or may not have a jet pack

His gun would be a massive tech looking thing with a bfg style weapon on the end, a rocket launcher mounted at the back that pops up when switching fire modes to rocket laucnet, he also had a third fire mode that is two chainguns mounted to the bottom of his gun arm, his other arm would have other various techs things for him to do things like holograms, middle barrage targeting, or punching (I'm debating teleportation)



Sammie robit army would be a tactical force that works together in tactical situations to fight, they would take tactical positions to be flanked, they are very intelligent and have snooty guns, they'll also come in different classes, they may or may not be able to teleport

Hey, I like that idea. Perhaps the UAC is using the prisoners as 'test subjects' for turning them into the Former Humans/Revenants among other things.

Samuel fucks up, opens gate to earth. Fight demons in destroyed future cities. Take the battle back to hell with you. Decimate hell, shut gate.
