Sleazypengun Posted June 2, 2016 Does anyone know the original resolution for quake 1? 0 Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted June 2, 2016 I think 320x240 was the minimum and 1024x768 was the max at its original release in 1996. 0 Share this post Link to post
Doominator2 Posted June 2, 2016 I remember in grade 9 my class was reading this outdated article about violent video games and they mentioned quake, well so are class was taking turns reading aloud, and some guy pronounced quake "quak" as in the sound a duck makes. 0 Share this post Link to post

Lol, in Russia people usually do the same thing intentionally. 0 Share this post Link to post
hex11 Posted June 2, 2016 There was a console command (/vid_describemodes or something like that) to get a list of possible resolutions. My p120 could handle several modes beyond 320x200, but going to 640x480 was a little too much for it. Well here's list of console commands: http://www.quaketerminus.com/console.shtml 0 Share this post Link to post
