Concerning the Creation of Textures

So recently I got some sprites that I think would look great as textures. I'm just wondering how one would make a usable texture?

(They're Covenant-styled wall textures by the way)

I'm assuming you know how to use slade.

You put them in between tx_start and tx_end markers or if you are using pk3 file structure you put then in the texture folder.
