StarCove - a tribute to Ty Halderman (now on idgames)

I made a map replacement for Icarus map 27 which pays tribute to Ty Halderman - who passed away sometime last year. It's a vanilla map which requires Icarus: Alien Vanguard to play and replaces MAP27.

Nice. It has that mysterious Icarus feel. The cave areas were quite dangerous due to the sun shining. I also spotted references to TNT04, Icarus32, maybe some other maps and various cute things such as the pumpkin/tomato plant. The upgraded teleportation room looked really awesome. Here is a demo of my playthrough.

Nice demo...although you missed some caves surrounding the blue key area. I'm impressed you survived those arch-viles by using up the rest of your ammo, as well. I could add a couple shells in the red/blue key area just in case...

Here's a fda I made with PRBoom+ on cl2. I liked a lot the map, the mood is really cool. I only found that the health was quite low. Like Memfis I spotted those references but I feel that the entire map was built around them. It seems like a weird fusion between Icarus and Evilution, many places to me feel like they could be based on maps from both wads.

lol, that exit part was really funny - I'm not sure know how I didn't notice what a big gap that exit door had in it. I've since made some minor fixes so I'll be sure to update the link soon.
