Rammstein = Singer, Guitarists, Bassist, drummer and synthisizer.

Anyway, I do sometimes replace Doom midis with NES and SNES music. Probably my favorite would be Lower Norfair from Super Metroid (usually for a fiery type map) or something from Actraiser.

Umm. Problem. Rammstein isn't techno. See, with techno, keyboards are MOST prominent, NOT guitars. And even then, it isn't just mixed in there, they actually have a guy that plays note for note all of the keyboard stuff. I think you've listened to Herzeleid too much. Get Mutter.

Erhm, not really. If your compare them to real industrial bands like KMFDM or Front 242 the only thing they have in common is the synthesizers and the aggressiveness.

Rammstein calls their own music "tanzmetal" (or dance metal) which I think is the most fitting genre label.
