i was just thinking about this the other day; i have all the highly-regarded WADs in my doom folder, and whenever i go to download something i find i already have it. so i was wondering if anyone had a WAD they would suggest was 'overlooked' when first released or something?

There's a lot of wads from the last decade, so many that it's hard to find good ones just by searching /idgames. I'd recommend looking at what's played on YouTube by people who do UV-Max demos. By now, all the WADs I've played just blur together into one big mess.
