Lock Number Problem

I was mapping in ZDoom (Doom in UDMF) and I assigned a lock number to a switch. But when I tested the map, the switch can be activated without any keys. Here's a screenshot.



What do I do about this?

Zandronum 2.1 doesn't support locking arbitrary action specials with keys.

You're going to need to utilize either ACS_LockedExecute or the old vanilla Doom method of putting a switch behind a locked door or barrier.

ZDoom, GZDoom and Zandronum 3.x support it. If you map for older Zandronums you have to be careful about newer features, because the code base is quite a few years behind.

Those based on the ZDoom 2.6+ codebase. So it should work in Zandronum 3.0. (Zand 2.x is based on ZDoom 2.5.)
