SharkLordSatan Posted July 16, 2016 So I want to set up a "package" consisting of two levels and some texture packs they use for people to test and give feedback on. I have some questions though; * What website should I use to upload the package to once it's put together? (Mediafire, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) * How should I generally set it up? Should I make WADS consisting of one level with a copy of the set of texture packs, or keep the texture packs and WADs seperate? Keep in mind that because these are heavily WIP levels they do not have ways to complete/finish the level yet, so putting them together into one wad would be pointless if the player didn't have a way to properly transition from one level to the next w/o commands. 0 Share this post Link to post
scifista42 Posted July 16, 2016 1. Any site that doesn't require people to sign up an account in order to download the file. 2. Ideally, put everything (all maps and all textures) into one wad. (It'd definitely be better if you shared them in a playable and exitable state, even if incomplete, though. If you're going to share levels that can't be exited, it already is unusual, so don't worry about the player having to cheat.) 0 Share this post Link to post

Alright, thank you! 0 Share this post Link to post
SharkLordSatan Posted July 16, 2016 Actually, I have some more questions. Because the map uses custom props/NPCs would I have to include those as well? I can probably just set up the maps so that they have all of the necessary resources packaged together, but in two seperate WADS (one for each map). 0 Share this post Link to post
