The Serenity series was also alright but had a lot of puzzles. 0 Share this post Link to post

invictius Posted August 3, 2016 Is it reasonable to assume that if I want an episode replacement that merely mimics the difficulty and (lack of) complexity of E1, that I should merely look at episode replacements made in '94? I'm guessing that early wad designers tended to copy the gameplay of the iwad and didn't make stupidly large levels until the hardware was available to support it. 0 Share this post Link to post
Doomkid Posted August 3, 2016 If that's what you're after, you may have played it, but Fava Beans is almost exactly that. There are some more modern wads that are only slightly more difficult and detailed, so if that still fits what you're after you definitely don't have to limit yourself to 1994 releases. 0 Share this post Link to post
