Xeotroid Posted August 8, 2016 Hey-o! I've been making covers of music from Doom games and megawads for some time (usually just above averagely shitty) and decided to put them out here, too. You can listen to all of this on YouTube without downloading anything (actually you are downloading more, but shhh...) and you can download it in 320kbps MP3, FLAC or for usage in (G)ZDoom / Zandronum source ports, perhaps others that support Ogg Vorbis and loop tags. If you've already seen one of my threads on some other Doom forums, there's probably nothing new here, sorry. :D LATEST UPDATE: Made this thread, newest cover is Ancient Aliens. MEGAWAD COVERS: Spoiler Ancient Aliens Spoiler Wow, probably the most recent megawad I've covered. I loved the music, but the MIDI format kind of makes it scream for more... Enjoy! Listen to it on YouTube. Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom, Zandronum, etc. Icarus: Alien Vanguard Spoiler Listen to it on Youtube Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For ZDoom-based ports (including Zandronum) Memento Mori Spoiler The shorter but no less awesome original of MM2, why would I not cover it? Listen to it on YouTube. Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom For Zandronum Memento Mori II Spoiler Not my cup of tea in terms of levels, but the music is awesome, so hey, why not cover it? Listen to it on YouTube. Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom, Zandronum, etc. Plutonia 2 Spoiler How much plutonium can you handle? Listen to it on YouTube. Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom, Zandronum, etc. The Plutonia Experiment MIDI Pack (it's not a megawad, but it's huge and not a standalone game) Spoiler More MIDI awesomeness, I couldn't not try to do something with it. Listen to it on YouTube. In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom, Zandronum, etc. Plutonia Revisited Community Project Spoiler The last bit of plutonium from me, for now. Listen to it on YouTube. Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom, Zandronum, etc. Requiem Spoiler Listen to it on Youtube Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom, Zandronum, etc. GAME COVERS: Spoiler The Ultimate Doom Spoiler Hell yeah, DooM 1! Listen to it on YouTube Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom (NOT FOR Zandronum!!) For Zandronum / Skulltag Doom II: Hell on Earth Spoiler Listen to it on Youtube Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For (G)ZDoom (NOT FOR Zandronum!!) Backup the original music! Chex Quest 1 - 3 Spoiler Listen to it on Youtube Download links: In MP3 In FLAC For ZDoom-based ports (including Zandronum) In case you want a list of all my awesomeness: Spoiler Games: The Ultimate Doom Doom II Heretic Hexen Strife: Quest for the Sigil Chex Quest Megawads: Ancient Aliens Icarus: Alien Vanguard Memento Mori Memento Mori II Plutonia 2 The Plutonia Experiment MIDI Pack Plutonia Revisited Community Project Requiem You can find more covers from more games on my YouTube channel. ------------------------------------------------------------ Legal and technical stuff: Spoiler You can use any of this music in your own projects, videos etc., but give me credit (my name or nick + name of the cover album), let it be in credits with other people, or a video description, whatever. If you want to be super classy, PM me when you use my music, so I can check it out! ;) Difference between (G)ZDoom and Zandronum versions is that when the game / mod has music duplicates, it's solved via $musicalias in ZDoom, saving disk space (so instead of d_ddtblu, d_ddtbl2 and d_ddtbl3 there's just the first one). Unfortunately, Zandronum doesn't have this feature, yet. 1 Share this post Link to post
