Any similar projects to Freedoom?

Are there any other freeware iwads that have the same function as freedoom? Eg replaceing all the copyrighted stuff from the doom Iwad and is compatible with pwads.

Harmony is a freeware IWAD as well, but just like HacX it doesn't allow proper PWAD support IIRC.

Look for Zauberer and Blasphemer as was said earlier. By the way I worked on Freedoom-like project that supposed to be RDC's analogue to Freedoom. Well, it now planned as something standalone, that not connected with (Free)Doom in all ways. Well except used sourceport, which is GZDoom.

i dont care if they're unfinished. i just want to see some similer projects luke freedoom.. i know that theres this thing called "the peoples doom"

Well there's Dave3D (Duke3D replacement), but no activity on that front for many years. Apparently they had some bad luck with 3DRealms trying to flex its legal muscle. Probably just some baseless threats...

I once tried to start up a free version of Strife called Animosity but it didn't go anywhere, and if it got restarted I'd rather someone more competent and interested would do it. I might make the topic for it at some point though...

If i had a PC these days, i'd ask you to let me take over. I definitely have interest AND free time.

I might still have the IWAD for the project on my hard drive too. It was nearly done being converted to all free placeholders if I remember right.
