Zdoom, how to make monsters aim wrong when shooting ?

Hello everyone,

I wonder if its possible to make the shotgun guy aim badly ? that increase the chance to the player to not get injured entirely by the bullets :)

Redefine their missile state to use A_CustomBulletAttack and set its parameters to randomize the vertical and horizontal spreads as you wish.

As a side note, consider posting all of your questions into a single thread instead of making 10 threads a day.

I dont really know how the horizontal vertical spread work, does 0,0 represent the middle of the player ?

Spread 0 means that the hitscan will be fired perfectly into the direction where the monster's target currently is. Non-zero values will offset the fire angle accordingly to the left, right, up and/or down.
