I'm actually planning to use it as exactly that in my project (which the original non-fishified texture is from). ;)

The problem with that SP_HOT1/GSTONE1 combination is that it's too orderly and doesn't fit with the stock variants by id, which are irregular. Also I totally disagree with 'fixing' this irregularity, doesn't fit the idea of hell.

It's meant to go with the regular variations posted literally three post earlier.

It does, however, fit the idea of actually fitting the texture to architecture rather than just treating it as wallpaper.

You can always make your architecture fit with the texture, hey. It doesn't have to be made of multiples of 8!

This thread reminds me of why I should make another simple but creative edit

 

EDIT: Done! I decided to do a simplistic but sleek edit for those weird walls I forgot the name of. Oh well, you'll know what I mean.

I was playing some Urania and saw a rather roughly spliced flat so I decided to remake it. (the flat, not the whole urania)

I'm sure plenty of people have done this before, but I made brown "water"fall textures a while back.
