I've started to create some new Doom 64 texture combinations that are not possible with TEXTURES alone. I want to make at least 16 before I post. These will be featured in Retribution at some point, most likely in the new WIP episode.

Those are really cool riderr, although I would go over that head's shading one more time, particularly on the beard, it loses a lot of definition at that size.

The doomy skull pattern is a bit incongruous with those, but nice work nonetheless.

Made some more stuff for my current map. Three different sized ceramic pots and a small tree in a pot. All come with decorate, are Doom paletted but the pots are unfortunately not shootable. I am trying to figure out how to do that, and want to provide a nice animation for that as well.

 

But for now, maybe someone can use them.

Very nice! I love things like this - details that are used solely to make a map look better.

Are the pots high-res, or just very big? The perspective is from looking down at them, however the biggest of the three is taller than vanilla Doomguy.

Yeah. I sort of forgot about it and never really made an effort to "finalise" it. It's currently pretty bare-bones so I don't know how useful it is as an actual resource, it's more just for show of "this is what happens when Jimmy tries to make stuff from scratch".

For my techbase I made myself another custom texture. A coiled, chinese dragon carved in stone. It is based on a photo I shot at the giant wild goose pagoda in Xian. If that's not an awesome name, then I don't know what is. Although it's based on a photo, I had to rearrange quite some pixels to make sure the tiny details like the dragon's scales, bear or claws are visible proper.

 

Not Doom paletted, use if you like.
