Tried to make some white walls like doom's PANEL textures, with golden trims.
I didn't even color the gold correctly, hopefully someone picks them up for polishment.

Inspired by Jimmy's METAL2/SPACEW5 crossovers, here's some mixtures of METAL2 with SLIME14 and SLIME15. Note that the positioning of the edges and bolts match those on the SLIME flats, while Jimmy's match those on METAL2.

That combination of colors would look cool in a heaven-like DOOM map.
I might need to take notes...

If there were a PANYEL texture, it along with PANBLUE and PANRED could be used to indicate locked doors. But there is no PANYEL texture, so here's a quick recolor.

I had been thinking about it, but i'd need to make all-new angel sprites to replace doom's demons, and then deal with the rage of a thousand people taking it too serious :p .

For whatever reason, id never updated the UAC logo on SHAWN3, leaving it with the alpha version logo. Here's an updated version with the final logo on it:

I imagine with the help of some people, the angel sprites won't be too hard, and with the rage of 1000 people, they'll get over it.
(Didn't we deal with thousands of raging people when it was Hell anyway?)

I just found this tonight! A Doomworld texture thread. Yay! Thanks, Jimmy.

First, a texture for Jimmy's re-sized Plutonia brick texture pack. It's TVBLOOD1 from Plutonia2 as a standard 8-high brick texture. Not sure how useful it is, but it is an exact match for Plutonia's MOSSBRIK (the 8-high resize) with the Green replaced by Red (A Plutonia Xmas map?).



Secondly, I played with 40oz's lit brick version of RW1_1. The lamp looked too fuzzy and indistinct to me. Brick/Stone are okay that way, but I don't think the lamp should be. That's one of the problems with re-sizing up and then down. I replaced it and moved it so the lamp lines up perfectly with the other wall lamp textures, also adding a drop shadow. I adjusted the lit portions of the stone so they lined up exactly with the original RW1_1 and did a manual gradient fade on the highlights. Yes, pixel by pixel. I thought it might look too 'edited', so I did a blur on the highlights. Now I'm not sure. The blurred version might look too 'smooth' and not look like light on stone anymore. Opinions?

I saw that airbrush thing on the front page of this thread, so I decided to put it to action.

This was the somewhat good result:


I guess it's chipped marble? Or maybe fleshy looking marble. Aged possibly. I dunno, someone come up with a concept for me, it's 2:00 AM where I'm at.

Had a go with this sky on map10 of Freedoom (an outdoor map).

Idk, it felt nice. Peaceful. Better than the rsky1 in Freedoom for sure.

Too bad it can't be used.

Welp, time to make a flesh texture using the airbrush technique.
I'll edit this reply when I finish it.

EDIT: Alright, it isn't as good as I'd thought it would be, but here it is I guess.

Hmm wouldn't you want to have the lamps recolored as well? Like the dark brown stuff around them.

Having that separation actually gives the ttxture more utility, it can be used very well on 16px tall surfaces now.
