Purgotary, eh?

I haven't played the map, but judging by the screenshot I think you may want to think a little smaller at first and focus your efforts on building one or two really focused maps that you can put some good time and effort into, rather than spreading all of your ideas out across 32 maps. It's rare for even very experienced mappers to create consistent efforts across that much real estate. The image that you've shared is already a pretty bare looking room with flat lighting and really nothing to set it apart from the hundreds of other "MAP01s" out there.

I don't mean to be blunt, but I hate to see new mappers burn themselves out before they can really get started. Just my 75 cents.
