Malevolent Horizon-----A Void Themed Wad(5 map demo released)

---------------Malevolent Horizon---------------
-This is a void themed wad with custom enemies and weapons.
-At the moment there is 3 different ammo types and there will be atleast 2 weapons per ammo type.
-Falling into the void wont kill you in this wad, you will instead go into another portion of the map and have to fight your way through to go back to the other side of the void.
-This wad will make use of jumping and maybe crouching.
-Some areas in this wad will have flying or swimming.
-At the moment there is no max map cap so this wad could go beyond 32 maps.
-There will be boss encounters in this wad so watch out!

Screenshot update!
Going through each map again and adding some details here and there and
I am really thinking about adding reverb effects to certain parts of void maps to
make the maps sound more open.

Interesting ideas. I really like animated sky and the black Demon having that revenge fireball attack upon death.

This project isnt dead, I just havnt had the amount of time to work on it that Id like to have.

There's zones in the fifth(?) map that become bridges that don't teleport the player before the bridge raises.

It looks truly beautiful, not only is it an original idea, with new weapons, a few new enemies, and the fact it DOESN'T murder you for falling into an endless pit, but instead, teleports you to somewhere else, I love it. Keep on doing what you do, this will be one of my favorite WADs for doom.

Until I can get my Main account back(cant password reset an old unused email) Ill be using this account to post updates to this wad.

Doing more tweeks to certain subvoid in the first maps, like map01 and map02 ill make monsters and items stop respawning after 1 or 2 instances.

I removed the pistol and replaced it with the first void weapon,  also added a new melee weapon that steals life on hit and gains ammo for its altfire per monster hit which tosses out a barrage of fireballs.

There's a neat texture in a R667 texture file that involves a bunch of melded faces in similar manner to the SPFace, maybe it will be of value?

It works with gzdoom and opengl zandronum.  zdoom doesnt look right with this wad, especially the skyboxes look cruddy on zdoom.

Finished map07 and just started on map08 last night. I added a new weapon to this wad which is called the Void Blade. This weapon is a melee weapon that you can find in every map. The Void Blade's main attack is a melee attack that deals a good amount of damage and steals life based on damage done. The secondary attack is a ranged attack that tosses out a few short ranged fireballs, the only way to gain ammo for this secondary attack is to hit monsters with its melee strike.

Half way through with map08, this will be the first nonhellish looking map in the series.
