invictius Posted December 6, 2016 Midi seems to randomly break in slade for me, doesn't play anything, even with my settings right. Everything else plays though. 0 Share this post Link to post

scifista42 Posted December 6, 2016 Did you try setting a (different) MIDI soundfont in "Edit -> Preferences -> Audio" in SLADE3? 0 Share this post Link to post

Dragonfly Posted December 6, 2016 Load it up in-game, change the music with cheat / console command. On the mac at work I seem to not be able to play midi's natively, and even VLC media player says no. (I really should get a soundfont installed) but a workaround for me is to rename the midi to D_RUNNIN and open it in ZDoom. :P 0 Share this post Link to post

Doomkid Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) My apologies for bumping such an old thread, but is there a solution to this? Having to extract the MIDIs or boot up Doom is pretty ridiculous, is there a fix that allows Slade3 to play MIDI / MUS files? I'm using Windows 7. 0 Share this post Link to post
Nevander Posted January 27, 2018 I just press play twice, under no soundfont set. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted January 27, 2018 Did you go to Preferences -> Audio? Have you set a soundfront? Have you tried configuring TiMidity and using it instead? 0 Share this post Link to post
