Neurosis Posted March 8, 2018 Oh thank fuck I can finally get a friend out to do something with me. Even if it is as small as salsa dancing class. Guys, you have no idea how much it sucks living in a small town. Oh sure in the city you can do anything, but here? GOOD LUCK I need to do more than getting drunk at bars or staring at computer monitors for hours also my crush is out of town so I can't dance with her for like another monthSEND HELP 2 Share this post Link to post

In fact you could easily visit everything around in a week and then just die of boredom lmao. I have a pretty damn boring yet stressful life, and this might as well be one of the reasons. But then I might just not be inspired enough to do something to break the monotony, I dunno. 12 hours ago, Mayhem666 said: I'm a really shy person naturally, and I usually don't approach people by myself, I tried to be kind, but sometimes it just doesn't fit at all. Look at me, i'm a dirty little bastard dressed in metal uniform with the long hair and stuff, who the hell would want to have a talk with me, people will probably automatically judge me as a retard that know nothing about life. Anyway, this is sad. I was a pretty damn shy person most of my life, and I think I still am shy, combined with socially awkward, these 2 sometimes being indiscernible from one another, but I manage most of the time. I find that being willing to open yourself to a degree (no I never open myself to anyone 100%, that's impossible. And like I said before, I'm much more open on the internet than in real life) so that they get to know you better usually pays off, but of course this largely depends on the persons you approach/who approach you. If I run into idiots who judge a book by its cover (which I still do, as I found this out at the end of 2017) then I just avoid them altogether because it's just no point in wasting your breath on these people, they already made their mind the first time they saw you, and nothing's going to change their mind. Same for the ones who just don't get it or don't want to. To put it simple, adapt to the situation and react accordingly. 2 Share this post Link to post

Battle_Korbi Posted March 8, 2018 I used to be terribly shy as well. I dunno how, but that changed, I might not lead the word 100% of the time now (because I like listening to other people), but when comparing myself now to myself from 5 years ago, I see an entire world of change has happened with regards to that :D I do wish I had more colorful friends to be honest. I don't mean "diverse" friends (like PoC or of other religions, I have some like these), but just who are as excited about shit as I am, who aren't just corpse draggers or who sleep till noon. I wish I have more friends who are brimming with crazy and bizarre ideas, and who are leaking with energy, so to say; who won't find it weird to step out of the norm for a bit or to pursue and complete self-imposed challenges and yadda yadda yadda. I used to be friends who were kinda colorful with that in regards (took a while for them to open up and embrace their creativity), but now it seems that every dude I meet either wants to drink or sleep; sure, they might be hiding their intentions or whatever, or they might be just tired, but still, I feel like I am the earliest bird in the world of mine who is often forced to wait for other birds to wake up, and this waiting can get annoying. 4 Share this post Link to post
Lila Feuer Posted March 8, 2018 @Dragonfly Should came to the town of Newport, Oregon then. It's a tourist destination and it's full of churches, old people and bums. Real exciting! 1 Share this post Link to post
-Votterbin- Posted March 8, 2018 Whenever I shave, I'm terrified that I'm gonna cut my throat and die. I'm scared of heights. The first FPS I played was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and it didn't exactly leave a good taste in my mouth afterwards. When I first started making music, I ended up pushing my music to iTunes and whatnot almost immediately... a dumb move on my part. 1 Share this post Link to post

Can really relate to most of these points. I wish I could find more people who are not afraid of being themselves and break the norm too, but that's an increasingly difficult task these days. Wish I wouldn't kinda fit in the "corpse dragger" category, but with all these problems and stress I feel more like an imprisoned slave on many occasions, trapped in a body and behind the walls of society. Or in short, lifeless. Pity, how things were back when I was just a kid, and now... boredom, lifelessness, monotony... Eh, at least I'm not wasting my days doing absolutely nothing, unlike others, but wouldn't call myself very productive either. 1 Share this post Link to post
Cynical Posted March 8, 2018 3 hours ago, Agent6 said: Can really relate to most of these points. I wish I could find more people who are not afraid of being themselves This is a silly concern -- the self doesn't exist outside of one's appearance and actions, thus it's impossible for someone to not be themselves. As such, concerns about authenticity in "personality" are null -- there is no authenticity, there's only behaviors that lead to desirable outcomes. 0 Share this post Link to post

Also scared of heights. I want to say that COD 4 was also my first taste of an FPS, but then I remembered that I have played other FPSs as well, just not online (Black on PS1 (?) and Cold Winter, also on PS1 (?) just being 2 examples). But yeah, COD 4 was/is highly overrated, IMO. 0 Share this post Link to post
