Removing active power-ups from the player?

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way in doom builder to remove a currently active power-up from the player. For example: I have a section in my map where the player gets a flight power-up, but once the player progresses to the next room/area, like maybe going through a portal, I would like the power-up to be removed if the player reaches the new room before the power-up would normally run out since I do not want the player flying in the next room. I imagine if there is a way it would be either a line def action or perhaps a script, but I have yet to find a way. I am editing in UDMF format. This is only my second serious map project, so if this is a noob question you will have to forgive me, still learning, but any help would be appreciated.
