2017 Goals

Well, I've been waiting on this thread for a little bit. Might as well set some goals for myself next year:

-Hit 1000+ followers on my Twitch channel, and do something great to celebrate the occasion.
-Attempt to resume my playtesting streams at some point. (this may not happen again for some time, sadly)
-Play Sunder, the Community Chest series and Speed of Doom as my three wads to play next year. (I'm ditching this "3 wads to play this year" thing)
-Finish all my remaining Doom wad requests, so I can open the floor up to a whole bunch of new ones. (6 left as of time of this post)
-Try to rage less at certain encounters in Doom wads. (slowly working on this)
-Possibly participate in some kind of speedrunning race, even though I'd end up last. (I might try this in 2018)
-Inspire mappers to do great things. (I might have done?)
-Continue to hate Revenants!
-Beat an_mutt by the end of the year in the Doomworld Ironman League. (to be determined, due to a current Britbowl tie of 6-6 needing a sudden death thing)
-Get a new computer and finally play Doom 2016.

I think this is a fair summary of how I've done with my 2017 goals. I've set a lot less goals for 2018, thankfully.

Free time is a resource, which is getting smaller every year. I hope that it will be enough for at least some points...

here are my 2017 goals!!!

• make a million dollars
• eat a bowl of ice cream
• submit a map to dwmp 2017
• take back pigeon
• start a community project
  • make a small demo map for it first though
• learn to not take 6 months making maps
• throw a party for my puppy's first birthday
• make motivational posters to use as textures in my doom maps
