Does Doom run on today's Mac computers running Windows?

I'd really like to buy a desktop Mac, but I'd also like to play the newest Doom. Assuming you have a Mac and installed Windows on it, can it run Doom or is it too weak? Preferably an iMac. Or is Hackintosh the only possibility?

OK, that looks hopeful. It's probably a more expensive maxed-out setup, but that's what's there.
