I wonder why TAS speedrunning is so big in Russia. :) entryway, Heretic, jongo, Akse, ClumsyDoomer, Azuruish, Vita... Even me and Plut did some basic stuff with -recordfromto.

The demo was a bit hard to watch to be honest. I think it's a shame that this jittery style, which entryway (the grandfather of Doom TAS runs?) was so against, is becoming the norm. But I understand that for many people speed is more important. It's still obviously a fantastic speedrun. I guess it is just better viewed as a technical accomplishment, rather than an artistic one. Great job on it!

My favorite part was the little rocket trick at the end of Map11. Or is it old? In any case, I don't remember seeing it before.

This is one of those videos where, even though I say I'm just going to take a quick peek, I end up watching the entire thing just because it goes by so fast.

Very impressive.

Also, you have a bad habit of shooting yourself with your own rockets.

Living up to your name I guess.

This shit is bananas. Jesus Christ.

MAP04, MAP07, MAP12, MAP15, MAP24 and MAP30 were my favorites!

Yes, many tricks require very precise thrust direction in order to be effective. Building does make sense.
I don't think that map11 trick has ever been used before.

I used Per Kristian's high quality sound pack (can be downloaded here)

My "name" is a product of dysfunctional imagination of 10 y/o me and it doesn't make much sense now. I'd change it with pleasure, but I'm afraid to end up with an even worse one, lol.

Aqfaq, would this belong in tasvideos? It's definitely not as enjoyable as 1241 because of sharper turns. I'm still surprised it was accepted for stars, though.

Sure, just submit it to tasvideos and see how people react.

By the way, I think this run has the highest number of rocket boosts ever, am I right?

Nice. I'm happy that the map14 rocket jump saved that much time :D

Not a fan of the sound pack, by the way.
