scifista42 Posted February 15, 2017 Hardcoded monster AI can only walk into one of 8 cardinal directions and doesn't always choose the closest direction where the target is anyway. Basic "chasing" in a straight line could be implemented via ThrustThing, but that doesn't cover detecting and avoiding obstacles in the way. So, the easiest solution would probably be to let the monster have a ranged attack that occasionally thrusts it towards the player when having line of sight, and otherwise rely on the hardcoded AI. 0 Share this post Link to post
