ZDaemon Thursday Night Survival #289 - Moonblood

Moonblood is a freshly released megawad which you might have encountered before under the development name Revclipse or Reclipse. It features small to medium-sized maps with relatively low monster counts and that's why we will start the session with fast monsters, 2x monster damage AND pistol start on every map. Hope you'll come prepared.

The mapset isn't finalized yet so feel free to post your critiques and possible bug reports in the WAD thread.

Something i've been curious about. Why is the alternative iwad allowed on ZDaemon TNS freedoom 0.8.0 instead of...well..... 0.11.1 (as of this writing)?

Because it is hard-coded in the port (AFAICT).

Just to be clear, for you and everyone else who never visited TNS - you can expect a session full of your typical old school Doom experience.

But sometimes, TNS admins like to have some fun and it can get pretty wild as is nicely demonstrated in the videos above. A word of warning: if it behaves strangely, it can probably instakill you; proceed with caution :)

Haha nice, I'm glad you guys got into the end! Lots of deaths against Imps and Revenants D: Also, 3 met a nazi, I guess that was the final boss hahaha

Yeah, the final boss replaces the Nazi so it uses its obituary. You can change the obituary text in dehacked, like so:

OB_WOLFSS = %o was swatted by a rather oversized moth.
