Steve D Posted December 22, 2017 Straight outta Oslo! Worth noting; Smack's version of "Stepping Stone" -- above -- is of course a cover of The Monkees, whereas Turbonegro delivers a totally raging cover of "Mobile Home," by Seattle's legendary punk band The Lewd. Just thought you oughta know. ;) 0 Share this post Link to post

I sure think it'd make wonders if done right, but a man can dream. You'd think at this point that style of riffing would at least leak a bit into soundtrack music, but the grand art of the death metal riff is still an unknown element. When I played the new Doom and they're still doing lame ass nu-metal influenced music, someone has got to go get in some industry and break some new ground. Or not, it's also good it remains untouched. 1 Share this post Link to post

Well, they have to make the soundtrack appealing to most people who play the game, so standard death metal probably won't do it, but technical death metal definitely could since it fist right at home with futuristic stuff. But yeah, rather than have shit I' rather have nothing, so I'm fine if it'll never happen. To remain on topic: 1 Share this post Link to post
ETTiNGRiNDER Posted December 23, 2017 Hmmmmmmm.... @Agent6 Hell yeah Lord Belial. My handle is partly derived from one of their songs, "Angelgrinder". 1 Share this post Link to post

Remilia Scarlet Posted December 24, 2017 Seems appropriate for the season :D A close friend of mine is doing the drums in this one. I did a quick hack of a render of the MIDI for him. 0 Share this post Link to post
seed Posted December 24, 2017 @Mayhem666 It's so raw on a few occasions it can rival with Mutiilation and Vlad Tepes. 0 Share this post Link to post
