"Well I'm asking you as a person,
Is it a crime?
For you to fall in love, with Frankenstein?"
Time to obsess over this for a month or so until I get sick of it! :D
I continually search the far reaches of space and time for more obscure, awesome stuff like this!...
Amazing fan video for this classic.
***WARNING!*** Potential seizure-inducing video from the '90s.
That said, this is one of my favorite songs, and the staggeringly beautiful goddess Saffron is one of my favorite singers. I put up a live version of this one awhile back, so here's the studio take of the American version, which is more rocking than the original British version. It's also the one the band still plays today.
The video is polarizing, to put it mildly. It's perhaps the most extreme example of the old MTV video-information-overload approach of fast cuts, pulsating zooms and assorted IMO moronic video effects ever produced. Can't help wondering if they edited this on a nonlinear system or a Sony video deck with A/B roll from separate frame-accurate VCRs. It represents an enormous amount of work either way.
@Mayhem666 You can't stop my battalion!
But, moving to what I listened to just now:
You should check 'em out if you didn't already, stuff's fantastic :) .
I think to have heard this already.... in some old doom maps from the 90s, i think? or i just heard a music that reminds me of this song...
Also started hearing to this now:
Quintessential Frank Zappa album, a warped sense of humor.
I want a dream lover, so I don't have to dream alone
You turn, to stone!
Can't look away...
I think my computer just exploded in awesomeness.
