ZDoom LE (Legacy Edition)

I've released a new ZDoom Classic version, i thought it was dead. It's a minor update, i haven't ported the ACS stack checking since this is meant to run old mods and i think it wouldn't make sense. Also i've brought up to date the abandoned old version without the GL renderer.
Apparently this is actually useful to run very old mods. I've tested Hi-Tech Hell 2 - Alien Tech from 2005 and has problems in more recent versions, but scripts are admitted to be buggy in the readme. Regarding mod compatibility this is mostly equivalent to ZDoom 2.1.5, 2.1.6 and 2.1.7 crashed with MinGW (gcc 4.6.1) as stated earlier. Of course it won't run BD so don't even try.

Changes/features since 2.1.4a GL R2.1:
- Adjusted scaled status bar for 4x4 low detail mode.
- Fixed savegame comment size for the 640x400 resolution.
- Added light definition for megasphere.
- Added Deejay's par times for Thy Flesh Consumed.
- Added support for older versions of DeHackEd patches.
- A few more official fixes.
- Changed savegame list order, now they are sorted by slot number instead of alphabetically.

As a side note the 3x2 low detail mode is not 100% right in all ports when decreasing screen size. This is a somewhat weirdo mode and adjustment is not perfect, could it even be? I planned to do a 3x3 mode but i couldn't get it to work.

By older DeHackEd patches, do you mean those patches so old that not even Chocolate Doom supports them? I tried it out for myself with this wad, and the game crashed before making it to the title screen. Here are the txt files relevant to the crash:

 Great, you made my day! Seriously thanks for reporting. It's fixed now.

 No, i just ported a commit by _mental_ to load patches from DeHackEd 2.3 and 2.4. ZDoom never supported binary patches.

 But there was a bad condition there, in modern versions it's a minor thing and you get the not a DeHackEd patch file error instead of crashing.

 So it's a GZDoom bug i'll report later when i port the fix to LE. I've reuploaded the release.

I've released a new ZDoom LE version to fix several bugs, mainly the problem with ACS strings. Also added the light definition for the megasphere and the unexplored secrets custom color in the automap. BTW i've updated ZDoom32 as well due to that bug.

Sorry but i've reuploaded the release due to a GL performance regression, 2.8.2 was already affected. I cherry-picked something bad when i added the hqnx mmx modes. Apparently the problem was mostly noticeable on intel cards. Now it's fine. So if you downloaded it before 04/10 you'd need to download it again).

@kb1: Thanks. It's just a maintenance version of ZDoom 2.8 but has a lot of bugfixes and also it's supposed to be safe. I added most of my stuff time ago (mainly i restored the low detail modes and added a few new ones). Also i merged an older GL renderer from GZDoom 1.8.4 and ported some features from GZDoom. So this is mostly about Git magic but it's pretty cool i think and has very low system requirements. Also i had a bit of luck. :)

I've reuploaded the release again to restore XInput support (i restored that code only recently), it works using the include from the full DX SDK.
Also i forgot to restore FluidSynth when i switched to gcc 5.1 (it was broken in the 95 version).

 I've uploaded a new release to GitHub, it's an important update. Has several bugfixes (one major old ZDoom bug) and a few new features. But i really don't feel like writing a changelog anymore.
Also i've fixed linux compilation (and visual studio as well). The old GL renderer was still using the SDL 1.2 backend. About cocoa no idea.

I've just uploaded a new version. Has several bugfixes and adds NormalNx scaling.
Now it's even faster since it's a VS 2013 build, happened to have it configured for that version at the moment. The MinGW build is included for compatibility with win98, BTW stack protection was broken and made it crash on 64 bit windows.

Edit: now another ZDoom Classic release, a very minor update with some pending things. Still the statusbar for the 4x4 low detail mode only is adjusted after changing resolution, even selecting the current resolution again does.
