How do i make a slashing chainsaw in slade 3?

i want to make a chainsaw that when you click, slashes like a sword. how do i do that?

I don't know the specifics, but your best bet is to look here:

You'll probably need to make different frames to animate it. I'd recommend GIMP to manipulate the images.

You'll also probably be best served with Slade3. 

 

I would also look at the inner workings of Demonsteele to get inspiration. (Since it uses swords.)
