Crusader No Regret Posted April 15, 2017 Reading the replies here, it appears that running GZDoom is software mode unless I want openGL visuals for whatever reason gives the best of both worlds. I kind of care about low ceilings eating heads though decided it's a small sacrifice to have access to Pirate Doom and other GZDoom exclusives. Downloaded GZDoom 2.4.0 and still looking for an in-game option to change to software rendering. (I run it via command line). Will keep looking since I've only spent about 10 minutes searching so far. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted April 15, 2017 Software rendering is vid_renderer 0; OpenGL is vid_renderer 1. If you don't use the startup box to set it, then you have to set it in the console, quit, and restart for the change to take effect. 0 Share this post Link to post
