"Use" feature

Hello, I don't feel like having those whacky GUIs to interact with stuff, I prefer simple brush based doors and switches.

I want to add the "use" feature to my D3 mod, however I don't know where to start with it. Having a "bind [key] use", would be enough to assign controls for it.

I don't know where you make commands, neither where I could make my own func for the brushes. 

All I need is some directories, the rest I think I can figure out.
