Goosepants Posted May 31, 2017 I'm currently playing on Ultra violence and having a blast, but I seem to get hit a lot, even though I'm moving around constantly, do you guys have any tips? I play on PS4. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tetzlaff Posted June 2, 2017 Double-jumping over attacking melee monsters like Baron or Pinky helps sometimes. 0 Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted June 3, 2017 If the game had Shadow Warrior 2 style dodging, it'd be a lot of fun. 0 Share this post Link to post

RightField Posted June 4, 2017 Monsters try to predict where you move so not moving constantly in the same direction helps a lot. 0 Share this post Link to post
TAPETRVE Posted June 4, 2017 Shadow Warrior 2's twitch-style dodging doesn't really befit DOOM. Completely different gameplay flow. 0 Share this post Link to post

MrGlide Posted June 4, 2017 Don't stop moving. Try to circle strafe in a clock like fashion around and arena, or a piece of an arena you wish to keep as a safe zone if possible. Keep your volume at a decent level so you can hear key sound effects to warn you of an incoming attack, If you've a decnt sound set up you'll hear exactly where they are at and can dodge the attack blind, allowing you to focus down key threats. Rarely is it a great idea to come straight at an enemy, coming in at Diagonals helps immensely with dodging projectile attacks. Always try to change your elevation, jump up and over boxes and other environmental props when moving as it will most likely cause the enemy to miss. 0 Share this post Link to post
