Maes Posted July 3, 2017 TBQH I'm not overly familiar with QZDoom -is its "GL" mode the same as GZDoom's, or just its true color software renderer in an OpenGL context? If the latter, then results are not really comparable. I'm sure Graf Zahl can think of a more thorough test procedure under controlled conditions (e.g. launching a specific WAD, loading specific assets/lights and metering FPS in a particular location/condition, in order to exclude any difference in configuration). The very least, can you provide a FPS average for both ports under identical controlled circumstances? The ideal would be to play a demo in -timedemo mode...but with ZDoom-derived ports, that might be hard to achieve. 0 Share this post Link to post
BerserkerNoir Posted July 4, 2018 same thing with me, and its related to sound somehow, playing with "no sound" Option makes everything smooth, why the lag then? Again, seems to be Windows 10 Issue, because before the auto-update everything was fine. 0 Share this post Link to post
Cooperson Posted July 14, 2018 Try putting it on doom (software) instead of opengl 0 Share this post Link to post
