I'm fairly hyped for this game as I loved the previous instalment, I'm glad it did well and a sequel is happening. Due to the pricing of games nowadays and the hardware requirements I probably won't get to play it just yet. Still, it's hard for me not to get excited in the meantime. The way the game has marketed itself and the response to it is... interesting, but I'm more concerned about how the quality of the game itself fares. From what I've seen it looks to be everything the first game was and more and I'm fairly confident it'll meet my personal expectations.

I encourage full freedom of discourse and believe that public scrutiny should decide what is right in the end (good thing I don't watch the news lol). If a new movement is gaining ground it is probably because the current (overly) dominant ideology is showing signs of needing to be cycled out for our current time on this astral plane of ours, or at least needs to stop messing with my personal entertainment. I'm such a rebel, mwahahaha :Y. I would also like it if I can get a guarantee that this game's achievements will work because I still can't get 100% on The Old Blood because some achievements won't unlock and that upsets me. Not sure how many folk I just turned against me for not being on a "you're either with us, or against us" level but I wanted to say something so I did :/

Besides this, the game looks really good but I'm not buying it until it comes down in price.

The whole term "nazi" is used inappropriately as well, since nazis are long gone and the Nationalist Socialist Party of Germany no longer exists. Have you ever heard of this thing called "nuance", or is everyone who is not a liberal a "nazi" to you?

Also not true! I don't care about the nazi aspect of the campaign, since nazis (ACTUAL nazis) have always been an integral part of the game. I just find it distasteful that Bethesda's marketing department uses modern day Antifa slogans to promote their game. Slogans by violent, criminal thugs. Is that really what you want this to be associated with? What does it add to an already vitriolic political climate, except more division and more people getting sick of having this shoved in their face?

It's because it either makes us think believe that Bethesda agree with a bunch of violent, hypocritical criminals who think everybody who thinks capitalism is good or voted for someone else they wanted is a nazi or it makes us think that Bethesda are trying to cynically and distastefully capitalize on the current political climate, thus creating a rift between gamers. Fact is, there are very few real nazis out there and some of the reasons Antifa provide for labeling someone a nazi are utterly laughable. People complaining about killing german soldiers are likely trolls.

It feels more to me like one group of fascists is mad that the other groups of fascists don't align with their fascism, while calling themselves anti-fascists. It's a big dumb joke that the participants aren't even aware they're a part of. It's created all this ridiculous psychic energy around buzzwords like fascism, communism, left wring, right wing, capitalism, etc. It makes it difficult to discuss because people frequently feel the need to choose a side, which is like trying to decide whether cat shit tastes better than dog shit, and people like myself who think it all sucks are seen as part of the problem.
