I'm Czech but I plan to eventually move to Canada. I honestly feel really out of place in this shithole, and I've forgotten about 50% of Czech by now in favor of English.

I was born in the UK to an American mother. I have no UK accent. It confuses people. There was an uproar from people because I sound Canadian here and there. After having public speaking classes where the notes were "sounds too formal and proper" I began to adapt a southern hick accent and suddenly I seem more friendly and approachable.
