Walter confetti Posted July 15, 2017 I've seen this trick used in lots of maps, but how it can be done? I know how to make a instant lowering floor, but this trick puzzles me... 0 Share this post Link to post
0 scifista42 Posted July 15, 2017 Both instant lowering and instant raising floors work on the same principle: You use an action that moves the floor into a specific direction, but build the map so that the floor's target height is in the opposite direction. With instant lowering floors, you use an action that moves the floor upwards until it reaches lowest neighboring ceiling, but build the map so that this lowest neighboring ceiling is below the floor that moves. Analogously with instant raising floors, you use an action that moves the floor downwards until it reaches highest neighboring floor, but build the map so that this highest neighboring floor is above the floor that moves. 1 Share this post Link to post
